North Brooklyn Open Streets Community Coalition

Since June of 2020, North Brooklyn Open Streets Community Coalition (NBKOpenStreets), has supported safe open streets for all in North Brooklyn including Berry Open Street, Bedford Slip, Banker’s Anchor, and Sharon Open Street.

We are a group of neighbors who want a safe place for all to walk, exercise, enjoy fresh air, and patronize our favorite shops, bars, and restaurants.

This coalition consists of neighbors and the following organizations and elected officials: North Brooklyn Neighbors, Brooklyn Greenway Initiative, Transportation Alternatives and Transportation Alternative’s North Brooklyn Committee, North Brooklyn Mutual Aid and their North Brooklyn Stewards program, BetaNYC, North Brooklyn Parks Alliance, El Puente, and Park Church Co-Op.

You can join us by volunteering or contacting us. If you have a question, contact us at hello@nbkopenstreets.org
